Palm Beach County's cities differ more than their borders suggest

From the equestrian communities of Wellington to the coastal high-rise condominiums of Boca Raton and Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County's cities carry very different housing stock, construction eras, and moisture risk profiles. Home Enviro has served South Florida since 2016, supported by more than 20 years of industry experience, applying the same independent inspection methodology while accounting for what's genuinely different about each community.

Each page below covers local property characteristics, common moisture and air quality considerations, and what a Home Enviro inspection may include for that community.

Our Equipment and Methodology

Direct measurement, not assumption

A Home Enviro inspection relies on instruments that measure what is actually happening inside a structure rather than a visual impression alone. Thermal imaging cameras identify surface temperature differences that can be consistent with trapped moisture or air leakage. Digital hygrometers and moisture meters record humidity, dew point, and material moisture content at specific points in a building. Borescope cameras allow a limited visual check of enclosed cavities, such as behind a wall or beneath a fixture, without unnecessary demolition.

None of these tools detect mold directly. A thermal anomaly, an elevated moisture reading, or a borescope image of a cavity are all evidence that something warrants a closer look, not proof of mold on their own. When findings are inconclusive from direct observation and instrument readings, air or surface sampling through an independent, accredited laboratory may be recommended to provide objective, documented results.

Independent Assessment, Never Remediation

The same independent standard in every Palm Beach County city

Home Enviro performs mold inspection, testing, and Post-Remediation Verification only. We never perform remediation, removal, or repair work, in any city we serve.

Visual Assessment & Moisture Investigation

Systematic review of interior and exterior conditions paired with pin and pinless moisture meter readings, adapted to each property's construction and climate exposure.

Thermal Imaging & HVAC Evaluation

Infrared scanning identifies temperature differences consistent with trapped moisture or air leakage, followed by direct measurement. HVAC systems are reviewed for condensation-related defects.

Mold & Air Quality Testing

Air and surface sampling through independent, accredited laboratories, performed when scientifically warranted by visual and instrumented findings.

Documented Fieldwork
